About
Dr. Rosy Sarmah is an Assistant Professor in
the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Tezpur University,
Tezpur, India. She received her Ph.D. (Computer Science)
from Tezpur University in the year 2012. Her research
interests include Image Processing, Clustering and Bioinformatics.
Till 2010, she held the surname of Das and her published
papers were under the name of Rosy Das. She has published a book titled "Clustering Techniques in Spatial Data Analysis". She has
a total of 14 international journal papers, 08 book chapters and 12 international
conference papers.
Recent Updates
2022
Ph.D. student, Ms. Koyel Mandal successfully defended her thesis titled "Cluster Analysis of Transcriptomics Data to Identify Potential Cancer Biomarkers".
2020
Research Project: PI of the project titled "Radiomics with Machine Learning towards prediction of Gallbladder Cancer" in collaboration with Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati and funded by ICMR, India.
2012
She has recently co-authored a book titled "Clustering Techniques in Spatial Data Analysis" published by Verlag DM AG & Co, KG, Germany.
2011
Research Project: Co-PI of the project titled "Beyond Clustering Gene Expression Data" funded by DST in collaboration of MIU, ISI, Kolkata, India.
